CEO Women’s Club Review

boardroom

Currently, the CEO Women’s Club is a site that is accessible to all visitors, but soon it will require membership to view all the content. This site specifically caters to the top CEO women by allowing them to network with other women in similar positions in other companies.

Members are expected to be women who own and run their own businesses and are the main decision makers. Through membership, the CEO Women’s Club promises access to other Fortune 500 CEO Women who are participating in member forums answering questions that are relevant to running a business. By creating an accessible network of professionals, they strive to make women in business feel that they are not alone and that they can get the help they need if they are having trouble making certain choices for their businesses. They want to share information that will teach women to maintain a competitive edge with other similar businesses in the market and see a growth in profits and clients.

Some of the participants in the discussions are famous CEO Women who are members and speakers in the CEO Women’s Club. They range from Angie Simmons, Executive Vice President of QVC, and Perry Yeatman, Senior Vice President of Kraft Foods. One of the key beliefs that many of the women in club share is that rather than feel that they are struggling in a business where there is a “glass ceiling,” they don’t acknowledge the limit at all. They gain a sense of empowerment by never limiting themselves with the excuse that it’s a “man’s world,” as many women do when they think that’s the only reason why they can’t succeed as fast or as powerfully as a man could in the same business. The club strives to help women develop their own strengths regardless of the adversity they may face by offering strategies directly from women who are already in charge of very large corporations and who have a lot of valuable advice to share on leadership and decision-making skills.
